Our Cottages ...

Our philosophy has been to create a retreat that will cater equally for families and small groups, as it will for couples.                                                                                                                             FAMILIES - For our families and groups we have four different holiday cottages ... 1 x four bedroom, 1 x three bedroom and 2 x two bedroom places.  Each of them overlooks either paddocks, bushland or our dam.  Our large cottages have lots of room for just hanging out, and full kitchens and a separate lounge/dining area that will give you some room to move. Each cottage has wood and or electric heating for those cold winter nights.

COUPLES - To cater for a special "couples only" getaway we have two very private and cosy couples cottages... one with great views across the valley and the other set in a very private bushland setting.  Our five cottages "The Farmhouse", "Cathedral Cottage", "The Chalet", “The Holiday House”, "The Whipbird Cabin" and "The Bunya Cottage" are very different, and can be viewed on the following pages. We look forward to sharing our special retreat with you.

GROUPS - Our retreat is a great place for social and work groups to spend time together.  We can cater for groups of up to 32 spread between all the cottages.

Where we are...

Jacaranda Cottages are perched high on the Maleny hinterland, some ten minutes drive north west of Maleny township, in the rural area of Witta. Witta is a lush rural setting well known for its cooler climate and sensational rural and valley views.

Only minutes away are the quaint townships of Maleny and Montville, which hosts a wide variety of craft shops, galleries, boutiques, and pottery shops. A wide selection of restaurants and coffee shops are only minutes away and cater for the full range of tastes. The beautiful Baroon Pocket Dam provides the perfect setting for fishing, sailing, canoeing or just a relaxing picnic. For the more active holiday, horse riding or a hit of tennis can be arranged nearby. Scenic drives in any direction will find you at places like Kenilworth, the Glass House Mountains, Sunshine Coast beaches, Mary Cairncross Park and a variety of Waterfalls
